Stacy Francis is the founder of Savvy Ladies, a non-profit organization that empowers women to take control of their finances and achieve a more rich and rewarding life. She frequently lectures and speaks about financial planning, with particular emphasis on investments, money smarts for women and couples as well as money wellness.
Ms. Francis attended the New York University Center for Finance, Law and Taxation where she successfully completed CFP® education requirements and CFP® certification exam. Ms. Francis is a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA) and has completed specialized training in the financial issues of divorce through the College for Divorce Specialists. Ms. Francis has a B.A. in International Economics and in French from Middlebury College where she graduated CUM LAUDE.
The founder of Savvy is an adjunct professor at The New School University. She is a member of several prominent women’s organizations including the Woodhull Institute, Women’s Business, Women in Communications, and Women Executives in Public Relations. She is active in the pro bono efforts of the International Association for Financial Planning and is Vice President of the Middlebury College Alumni Association of New York.
As a nationally recognized expert in personal finance, Ms. Francis has appeared on The Today Show and is frequently quoted in publications such as Bankrate.com, CNN.com, The Daily News, Edge, Financial Planning Magazine, Glamour, Investment Advisor, Investment News, Money Magazine, New Day, Smart Money, and The Wall Street Journal.
